“ Green Valley Market has some of the best deals and pricing for seafood. The seafood is vibrant in color, has the freshest smell that seafood can "give off", and you can leave the counter with more than two different units of seafood without breaking your bank -- take it from the pescatarian, this place is worth a try! In addition to their seafood selection, their produce section is one of my favorites. Well spread out, nothing is wilting or molded, and they push for customers to bring their own bags! Surprisingly, at times they have completely random and "exotic" veggies and fruits that you may not find elsewhere. Try them out! There is an amazing sushi restaurant next door, a liquor store and an ice cream stop which makes running errands sweeter =) ”

“ I have driven by this grocery store many times and wondered about it. Today I decided to check it out. Initially, I thought it might be a business focused more so on produce because of the name. Once inside, I realized that it is a regular neighborhood grocery store. Upon first observation, i noticed that the produce was good quality. I also noticed that the produce items were priced a bit higher than the grocery stores where I typically shop. While they did have organic options, some items were not available in the organic variety. Since most of my shopping was conducted in the produce aisle as was intended, I really did not navigate other areas of the store with the exception of some perimeter areas, as I walked to the aisle with packaged fruit. While they do have a vast selection of products, I did not find value in shopping here, only because of the prices. The pricing would be my only issue at this time because everything that I purchased looks great. I am not certain if they have a loyalty shopper's program and I did not inquire. This visit was primarily to see if the store was similar to Sprouts or the MOM market but a little bit closer to home. As a side note, some of the staff encountered were friendly, which is an added plus. ”

“ We moved to the area in 2015 and we have been shopping at Green Valley market ever since. It is great supermarket. It is clean. Lots of parking. The clerks have usually been awesome and very friendly. It is the type of place where you know that you can find specific ingredients to make any recipe. And great fresh produce. Deli sliced meats etc. And in store bakery as well. They have everything at Green Valley. Green Valley used to have great deals as well but as covid has waned on they have fewer and fewer deals. We went grocery shopping here last evening and as we went up and down the aisles we actually at one point decided to put some things back because of how expensive everything was. We only bought a very small handful of items at Green Valley and then we stopped at another grocery store and did the bulk of our shopping there at another close by store. Sorry Green Valley. If the store just down the road from you has the same brand and size item for $1 less per item you really do need to price your own stock accordingly. I love Green Valley and I will be back again and again but I'm no longer going to expect to find great deals here. They do however still have the most awesome selection of local products. Green Valley please try to bring your prices in line with other local stores so I can do the majority of my grocery shopping here again! ”

“ Honey listen. I came here for one thing and one thing only: Taharka Brothers. After looking at the Taharka Brothers website to see what stores carry their ice cream, I saw that Green Valley Marketplace sold it in my town! Honestly, I've never been to this store before until now. It's a grocery store that seems to carry the basic necessities but they also seem to carry products from a lot of local businesses, including my beloved Taharka Brothers ice cream. The store is a little smaller than the more popular Giant and Harris Teeter. I didn't pay much attention to much else in the store because I made a beeline for the frozen section, got my ice cream, and got out. Next time, I'll take a little more time to browse the aisles but if you're a TB fan and would rather not feel like a complete fatty by ordering home delivery or making that journey into the city, Green Valley got you. They carry the basic popular flavors including key lime pie and honey graham. I didn't see any seasonal flavors but I'm not going to assume they don't get them. So if you live in HoCo, you can get your fix right here. I did self check out but the employee standing near the self check out wished me a great day so I'd say service was pretty good. I had no other interactions with the staff during this visit. ”

“ Very nice place to shop. Slightly smaller than the larger supermarkets, but they always have a very wide and deep selection of everything you could want or need. Prices appear to be about the same as the bigger chains. And their customer service is great. I think their only downside is their own clientele. Some people just ... aren't ... so smart. But they are definitely the exception. It's nice to occasionally shop at a more local, smaller chain rather than the 'big boys'. And Green Valley Marketplace definitely fits the bill. ”

“ Nice market. I came here quickly early Thanksgiving morning because they had a good price for oysters. It wasn't too far of a drive for me either. Right off of 100 & Rt1. When I arrived to the seafood counter, it was really clean and organized. There weren't a lot of selections but the selections they had were what you wanted. The presentation of the seafood made me want to buy other choices selections. The gentleman even when I called earlier was really nice when he answered the phone. I didn't walk around the store much. I just got what I needed and got out. Cashier was friendly and quick. I think my drive was longer than the time I spent in the store lol but it was worth it. ”
